Kratos and Atreus are perfectly molded from sand as well, with everything but their legs having an expert level of detail given to them. Essentially, the sculpture appears to be a recreation of the cover art forGod of War Ragnarok, except it is made from sand.

Many praised the work of the artist who created the sculpture, stating how impressive it was to create such a massive piece of fan art out of sand. Some were worried that theGod of War Ragnarokartcould be ruined due to it being made of such an easily destructible material. According to spqp, the sculpture was part of an exhibition where other creators were also making sculptures from sand, but this was the only piece inspired byGod of War Ragnarok.

Among those praising the art, there were others who believed it could inspire a differentGod of Warsetting. One fan said that, while this art was forGod of War Ragnarok,it felt more likeGod of War Thebes,alluding to the concept of Kratos traveling to the realm of the Egyptian gods. While many have speculated thatGod of Warcould explore different mythologies, it seems that for the foreseeable future it is likely fans will only see the series' adaptation of the Norse myths.
